About Maris Fiducia
At Maris Fiducia, our mission is to lead the transformation toward cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable shipping.
We believe that the future of maritime transport lies in innovation, responsibility, and long-term partnership. With a focus on technical excellence and environmental performance, we operate a modern fleet of tankers and dry cargo vessels maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Our vessels serve a select group of reputable international clients who share our commitment to sustainability and transparent operations. Every voyage reflects our dedication to minimizing emissions, optimizing performance, and supporting the global transition toward greener logistics.
From our base in the Netherlands, we combine decades of maritime experience with forward-looking technology. Our team brings together expertise from ship management, technical operations, and environmental innovation call working toward a single goal: to make zero-emission shipping a practical reality.
Maris Fiducia’s heritage stretches back to the early 1980s, rooted in the traditions of responsible ownership and hands-on ship management. Today, we build on that legacy by investing in future-ready vessels, wind-assist propulsion, and low-carbon technologies that redefine what sustainable shipping can achieve.
Together, we are shaping the future of maritime transportation towards a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable world.
History and track record
Maris Fiducia was established in 2007 as the holding company for a group of shipping and management entities active in both the tanker and dry cargo segments.
Although the Maris Fiducia name is relatively young, our roots in maritime shipping run deep, with a legacy dating back to 1984. Over four decades, we have built a solid reputation for reliable operations, technical excellence, and responsible ownership.
Headquartered in the Netherlands and fully privately owned, Maris Fiducia has maintained its independence and long-term perspective in a rapidly changing industry. Our activities cover the full spectrum of technical and commercial ship management, fleet operations, and logistical coordination for both owned and third-party vessels.
Through our subsidiaries, we manage a diverse and modern fleet optimized for energy efficiency and environmental compliance:
-
Grona Shipping (The Netherlands) — Established 2004, managing ten dry cargo vessels operating mainly in Northern Europe.
-
Grona Tankers (The Netherlands) — Established 1997, managing 1 chemical and product tankers in SECA zones.
Our primary trading area covers the North Sea and Baltic Sea, operating within SECA zones under stringent environmental regulations. From time to time, our vessels trade deep-sea routes as well, providing flexible and responsive solutions for our clients.
Over the years, Maris Fiducia has continuously evolved, from a traditional ship management company into an innovator in sustainable maritime transportation. Today, we actively invest in new technologies, emission-reduction initiatives, and next-generation ship designs that reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational excellence.
This enduring commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability defines our track record and guides us as we move toward a zero-emission future at sea.
